Mindfulness Meditation Retreat:  How to get there and what to bring

Address

Camino del Río Pradillo 2, Cercedilla.

Getting There
Before the retreat we’ll send participants a link to a Google Doc that we use for organizing ride shares…. If you like, you can use this to let other participants know that you’d like a lift.

Coming By Train from Madrid
There’s a train that arrives to Cercedilla train station at 18:21 and one that arrives at 19:23.

The train takes an hour from Chamartin.  You can find the departure time from your closest station, either using Google Maps or on the Cercanías Madrid website here:
http://www.renfe.com/EN/viajeros/cercanias/madrid/

When you arrive in Cercedilla, go to just outside the main entrance to the train station. There you can meet the other people who are coming to the retreat to share a taxi together. There’s usually a taxi waiting, but if not you can call one at 619 22 62 72. With 3 or 4 people in a taxi it will be a few euros per person.

Coming By Bus from Madrid
You can also get the 684 bus from Moncloa and get off at Cercedilla station. The journey takes around an hour.
You can see the bus time table here –
https://www.redtransporte.com/madrid/autobuses-interurbanos/684-madrid-las-rozas-cercedilla.html

See the train section above for how to get from Cercedilla train station to the center.

What to Bring
– Comfortable clothes. Ideally layers so you can adjust according to the temperature.

– Sunscreen, sun hut and sun glasses.

– Comfortable shoes

– If you have a favorite meditation cushion, feel free to bring that, though there will be enough cushions and chairs for everyone.

There’s no need to bring towels or bed linen as they are provided by the center.
